Recipe for Mushroom Pie, Ham and Cheese by Karlos Arguiñano
Well, it’s Friday and with him again our recipe arrives and we have thought of a very special and easy one. Karlos Arguiñano prepares the recipe Mushroom pie, ham and cheese in his TV show Karlos Arguiñano in your kitchen. Delicious!
Ingredients (4 people):
- 600 g of thistle mushrooms
- 2 thick slices of cooked ham (200 g) (you can buy it here)
- 8 shallots
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 300 g of cheese
- 6 potatoes
- 100 ml of tomato sauce
- extra virgin olive oil (you can buy it here)
Preparation of the recipe Mushroom cakes, ham and cheese:
FIRST STEP: We heat a pan with plenty of water, add the potatoes, a pinch of salt and cook them for 30-35 minutes.
SECOND STEP: Now we peel the potatoes, chop them and pass them through the mill. Then we place them in a bowl, add a little oil and the tomato sauce. Season, sprinkle with chopped parsley and mix. We reserve it.
THIRD STEP: Peel the shallots and garlic cloves and cut them into small cubes. We put everything to fry in a pan with a splash of oil. We chop the mushrooms and add them. Braise for 5 minutes.
FOURTH STEP: Place the mushrooms in a bowl. Cut the ham and 200 grams of diced cheese and add them. We mix well.
FIFTH STEP: We prepare 4 individual containers suitable for the oven. We spread a bit of mashed potatoes on the base of the containers, spread the mixture of mushrooms, ham and cheese over them, and cover them with the rest of the mashed potatoes. We grate on the rest of the cheese, introduce the containers in the oven and bake at 200 º C for 10 minutes. Finally, serve and garnish with parsley leaves.
