Cooked chickpeas with ham serrano
Some days ago, that we have not proposed any recipe. And now that we are in full holiday season also many people can see it as an opportunity to start cooking. Ingredients:- 100 g of pumpkin approximately
- 2 potatoes
- 500 grams of chickpeas
- 1/2 chicken-salt – ham (or ham who prefer)
- 1 turnip
- 100 grams of carrots
- 100 grams of bacon-a branch of celery
- 250 grams of ‘morcilla’
Now we will see what steps we must follow to prepare this delicious receta:- First step: first of all we will take and leave the chickpeas to soak to soften you between 12 – 24 hours before your use. This step is crucial for best results.
- Second step: then we will take and in a wide pot, cold water will put all the meat and will give you a boil.
- Third step: now take and observant that water and move on to washing meat. We will put them back in the pot with the vegetables that we previously washed and peeled.
- Fourth step: we will now move on to cover with cold water and bring to a boil and will then add the chickpeas.
- Fifth step: proceed to lower the heat and let it cook until the chickpeas are tender. Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes cooking time.
- Sixth step: now, after this time, will pass to season to taste. Finally, strain the broth and proceed to serve consommé or soup and accompany the chickpeas with the vegetables and meats.
And after all these steps, we will have our delicious stew of chickpeas with ham recipe ready to enjoy. It is an ideal recipe for the cold days of winter, but also in summer for those who enjoy a good cooked and do not want to renounce it.
