Nests of potato with ham
As we love to cook with our favorite ingredient, ham, today we have thought a somewhat more original, although simple recipe at the same time. Ham potato nests may seem a complicated recipe, but nothing of the kind. In addition, aesthetically is very original and if you decide to make it for a special occasion your guests assured that you will be surprised. This recipe is simple, economical and easy to make, will not take us long. In addition, we can prepare it and leave it made a few hours before serving it since we can then heat it in the oven before serving and it will be just as delicious.
Now let’s see the ingredients we need for example for a total of four guests- 3 potatoes (preferably medium-size)
- 4 quail eggs (they are delicious)
- Ham (here we return to the subject of always, you can put ham or ham)
- olive oil
- Salt.
Now let’s see the steps we need to produce;
First step: first of all we will take and peel and cut the potatoes in the form of straw (that can get you with a few cutters that is special and that do cut with this form) and unwashed (so do not miss the starch which is what makes that stick to each other and to acquire nest).
Second step: now take and cover special mold to make nests (we can find it in any culinary store or online) and fry it in enough olive oil. We will make it so that all mold is dipped in oil.
Third step: now, once the potatoes already have caught the color gold, will be cast if we take and put the mould upside down and give a blow dry. Now we take and will miss the salt you want, this will depend on the taste of each one.
Step four: now are already going to the last step. We take and forraremos nests with ham (or serrano ham you each prefer) and place over a quail egg that we previously fried in very hot oil.
And after these short, simple steps of processing and preparation, we have ready our nests of potato with ham. It only remains to serve them! Sure that your guests are impressed with its aesthetic and above all, with its flavor. They are exquisite! They will want to return to your home.
