Ham croquettes
When we speak of ham (either ham or ham) a lot of recipes come to mind. But what is your favorite? The truth is that there are so many possibilities that it is difficult to choose a favorite. 1º ingredients: (this recipe is calculated for 4 people)
To make the croquettes will use:
– 50 Gr. of butter (or olive oil)-1/2 onion or a small onion
-1 clove of garlic-70 Gr. flour (the amount here depends on the rank that you like)
-250 gr. of ham (as you want more or less amount of ham. Here you can put ham or ham)
-1 litre of milk (more or less, depending on the rank that you like)-a bit of nutmeg and/or black pepper (the amount here depends on how you like it, there are who poured very sparingly).
2º Elaboration:
First we will put in a pot the oil and butter, we heat until the mantequillla melts and poached onion chopped very fine. When transparent add very small chopped ham and sauteed all together. Once ready, add the flour, stir well and let Cook over very low heat for about 10 minutes. Then add the milk and cream little by little and we are removing well so that no lumps. Let Cook another 10 minutes, stirring to prevent it not caught in the background. We will miss our taste salt and add a little pepper and nutmeg to taste.
We pass the mixture to a container that is sufficiently wide and low and place it in the fridge for a few hours. Once has been in the fridge long enough (i.e. at least 6-8 hours) we are taking lots of size that we like, we give them forms (e.g. slightly elongated) and passed them in flour then beaten egg and finally bread crumbs.
3º: Finally, we fry the croquettes in a pan with hot oil. When slightly browned and we can remove them (the frying time already depends on the taste of each).
